My Note book computer broke down recently. It is about a year and a half old and under extended warranty through Harvey Norman. I called the warranty claims hotline on Monday the 11th and they took my details advising that the transport info would be sent out and arrive mid week. They also told me to pack it up and have it ready to go. Well that’s the first delay; an expected two to three days before I can even call the transport company to pick it up. Well come Friday the documents still had not arrived. I had called the warranty hotline again and they said I could take it in to Harvey Norman and they would send it. Great I would have done that on Monday if I had been told. So Friday I took it to Harvey’s and booked it in with sad tales of at least three weeks to get repaired depending on parts availability.
The transport documents finally arrived on Wednesday afternoon the following week, that’s ten days!! These guys are on the ball eh. I was told of a web site where I could track the progress of my repair and as of today Friday the 22nd it appears it still has not arrived at the repair centre. 12 days later. These Guys call themselves “Service Express”.
